Yarn querie...

I got four balls of yarn yesterday from Wally World. Two Bernat Baby Bubbles and two of Red Heart Treasure. Now the Bernat comes with a pattern and I was planning on doing it for DD. But the Treasure? It looks like a triple yarn. An eyelash, a ribbon ladder and a metallic. I have no clue what to make from it, but I do want to make something for DD...

Learning Fair Isle!!

I'm so excited. I am teaching myself Fair Isle! I always wanted to learn this but I seem to like the sweaters that are certainly for an advanced level of skill. Row gauge

I realized after finishing the back, that while my stitch gauge is dead on, my row gauge is way off. Like, the back is a good inch longer than it should be (more if I measure it holding it up). This wasn't apparent when I did my swatch. For now, since at this point I've finished half the front as well...
